FURSTENFELDBRUCK, Germany, Jun 15, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. [NYSE: ARW], now offers the complete range of products from IBM in Germany under a new agreement with IBM software.
The agreement designates Arrow ECS as a value-added distributor for the full range of IBM software solutions, including the IBM Passport Advantage Product portfolio, and adds to the distributor's long-standing IBM hardware business.
"The addition of the IBM software line is an important step in offering our resellers complete support for IBM projects," said Eric Walter, managing director for Arrow ECS in Germany. "This agreement better enables us to provide comprehensive technical and sales advice and support for IBM solutions to our resellers."
Arrow ECS also provides technical support and configuration assistance through its Storage Solution Center that resellers can use for testing and demonstration purposes.
Arrow ECS has appointed a dedicated team with many years of experience to support the IBM Software line. The team will attend the IBM Partner Camp in July in Stuttgart, where the complete range of IBM support and offerings that Arrow ECS provides will be exhibited.
